About…
AMARA Hotel is a modern hotel that was opened in 2019 and boasts a simply unforgettable location, as it is based on a Limassol beach. This 5-Star Luxury Hotel will indulge guests within a contemporary design, whilst offering a dedicated and quality service.
The hotel is comprised of 207 rooms and suites, where guests can choose from Deluxe Suites, Rooftop Suites and Seafront Cabanas with private swimming pools. Rooms vary in size from 45m² to 170m² and have been decorated with warm wooden décor, soft pearly hues and all the vital facilities that you would expect from a premium hotel. Perhaps AMARA’S greatest strength is its 180° panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea that can be enjoyed from every accommodation option.
Day-to-day life for a guests is one of pampering & luxury – so expect; fine dining, an indulgent spa, a dreamy beach and a remarkable infinity-edge pool.
AMARA’S Spa, with its 3,000 square meters, is almost futuristic and offers a wide range of treatments, which include - Facials, Therapeutic Massages and special Cypriot Rituals. We urge guests to pamper themselves in such treatments as the ‘Detox Cleaning Ritual’ that encompasses a full-body scrub, a seaweed & eucalyptus wrap and scalp massage. Leave your experience glowing like Aphrodite! The Spa area also has a gym that is fully equipped with TechnoGym kit, for those Hermes-esque personalities.
The hotel is also celebrated for its Michelin-star featured Chefs and culinary options. The Ristorante Locatelli is a derivative of the esteemed London-based, Michelin-Star, restaurant headed by Celebrity Chef Giorgio Locatelli. Make your reservation before you arrive at Amara and enjoy formidable Italian cuisine in an al-fresco setting. Another option could be to enjoy the unique Japanese-Peruvian culinary fashion of Matsuhisa Limassol of the world-renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, where all food is accompanied by a range of Sake and exotic cocktails. For the lovers of seafood, visit Armyra By Papaioannou - a dedicated seafood restaurant which first opened in Greece with the freshest fish and many more culinary delights prepared with the region’s purest ingredients. Our highlights are either swimming up to the Pool Bar or enjoying the unforgettable sunset, with a cocktail in hand, from the prominence of the Rooftop Bar.

We are featuring the AMARA not only for its luxurious Hotel status, but because of their progressive Sustainability Mission. Being a new Hotel that was opened in 2019 has given the Stademos Hotel Group the advantage of incorporating modern technologies into the fibre of the Hotel. The AMARA uses Photovoltaics (PV) that converts light into electricity, via semiconducting materials that exhibit the Photovoltaic effect. Innovation like this has aided to reduce the potential carbon footprint and water consumption of the Hotel, accurately embracing its sustainable development initiatives and innovations. It’s time to start considering a relaxing coastal holiday abroad and where better than the Mediterranean? More specifically, Cyprus! This enchanting island nation was home to Aphrodite, Goddess of ; beauty, love, passion and pleasure – so you are safe to make the assumption that you will be living in bliss!
AMARA is located in Limassol (Lemesos), which can be found between the ancient cities of Amathus and Kourion (Curium). Limassol is said to date back to 2000BC, so it’s not uncommon to see Castles and Medieval Museums. Today, the historic centre spirals out across a network or lanes and roads, where old shuttered houses and contemporary Boutiques can be visited. The heartbeat of Limassol is its Marina, which is the home of many glamorous shops and fabulous yachts. There is always a buzz in the air, so expect vibrant with cafes, bars and restaurants.
Limassol is shrouded in an incredible history, so a day-trip here-and-there is certainly worth it. For instance, the Kourion is a UNESCO-protected archaeology park just west of Limassol that is over 6,000 years old. Today, you are able to view the terracing of an ancient theatre and the ‘House and Baths of Eustolios’, where well preserved mosaics are waiting to be looked upon.
If you’re in search of some local wilderness, travel further afoot to the west of the island, where you will find the Cypriot wilderness nearby Akamas Nature Reserve. With over 230 square kilometres of coverage, surrounded by gorges; valleys and wide sandy bays, Akamas is the perfect day trip for those who wish to observe wildlife diversity. The Reserves boasts impressive numbers of protected animals, including; 168 varieties of birds, 20 different reptiles, 16 species of butterfly and 12 different mammals.
