2020 & 2021 were tumultuous years for Travel, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. We therefore feel that our responsibility as Travel Consultants has never been as necessary as it is now, which is why our cherished Clients know they are our ‘Number One’ priority.

With Travel Matters being firmly established for more than 20 years, we are dedicated to providing our expert knowledge and our detailed bespoke service, whilst ensuring reassurance and flexibility. Ultimately, we want to make sure that you & your loved ones are safe and that your money is protected!

Travel Matters COVID-19 Guarantee

First and foremost, our committed Sales & Concierge Team are always available to assist with your enquiry & booking. Our next guarantee is that we will aim to support in any way possible from the moment you arrive at your destination, to the day you leave. Remember, we’re here to help! 

We have been working tirelessly with our Partners to maintain that all properties adhere to Government Guidelines & Procedures, particularly the ‘Hygiene & Sanitation’ of accommodations and communal facilities.

Seeking alternatives is our duty! When booking with Travel Matters, we are making a guarantee with our Client’s - we want to offer flexibility in the instance of a booking cancellation or Government travel advice, so if you have to defer your holiday till 2022, we will strive to help you. We also intend to be fully transparent about any further costs that may be influenced under these circumstances (e.g. Currency Fluctuation/Exchange Rates).

Guidelines

We strongly recommend that you assess the latest information about your holiday destination from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO). U.K. FCDO advised cancellations can be permitted due to –

  1. Borders to the destination being closed

  2. Quarantine upon arrival at your Destination

  3. Quarantine for 14 days upon return to the U.K.

  4. Restrictions on non-essential travel to your Destination

A comprehensive 14-day Quarantine Destination exemption list is available through GOV.UK., which will further detail information about travel corridors.
