“Great Fosters is a great choice for a romantic getaway in a unique listed Tudor country Manor House offering a gourmet fine dining boutique hotel experience. The food in the Estate grill is also excellent if you are unable to reserve a table in the sought after Tony Parkin restaurant.
The lounges are sumptuously furnished and decorated to a high standard as are the bedrooms. The bed and mattress are amongst the most comfortable of any hotel we have previously visited. The gardens are worth wandering around. The hotel offers spa treatments and there is an outdoor heated pool, but there is no indoor spa area, so strictly, in the autumn or winter months, this is not a spa hotel.
In all other respects, we would give this hotel 5 stars. Great value, great food, lovely ambience, comfortable lounges and bedroom, attentive staff and good location.”

“A fantastic lunch in wonderful surroundings. Manfreid was very welcoming and entertained us throughout lunch with his humour! The service was great, the staff all welcoming, friendly and very efficient. The food was really nicely presented and tasted delicious. We took a walk after lunch in the grounds which are beautifully maintained then returned inside to sit by the log fire. Well worth a visit. We will definitely go back again.”
