“The warmest of welcomes awaits visitors to this authentic working hacienda. Charming, rustic and very cosy with log fires. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed a horse ride up to the viewpoint and a great massage. Fantastic views of the landscape. There are well signposted walking trails. The staff are efficient and yet so relaxed and can’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable. The perfect place to relax and chill or partake in more adventurous offerings.”

“Lovely people and lovely place! Great vibe. Loved the horseback riding. Joanna at the reception is super nice and helpful! They have great food there for an additional price. Would definitely visit again and would recommend if you're looking for a spot near Cotopaxi.”

“If you want the most amazing adventures of your life, then head to Hacienda El Porvenir! We did the high ropes course with Italo, had a 3.5 horseback ride up to 13,000 feet to amazing views, climbed up 16,000 to the base camp of Mt Cotopaxi (the National Park is very close by), and had a fun-filled cooking class with Chef Lucy where we made Canelaso, Empanadas and Aji.

The accommodations were nice and the staff is great. It was incredibly fun and special!”

“This place is wonderful. The setting is world class, the rooms are beautiful, the staff are fantastic and the food is delicious. We had a really interesting horse riding tour and a cookery course which were really well organized. The little touches are perfect such as the welcome drink/ snack, the real fire in the room and the hot water bottle in the bed. I could not recommend them more highly.”
