The Meneghetti Restaurant has been proudly awarded a Michelin Star and this recommended restaurant offers a dining experience where you can savour a modern interpretation of traditional Istrian cuisine. The Estate prides themselves on using seasonal local, fresh and authentic ingredients - to give you the most honest taste of their Istrian cuisine. Stroll down to the Meneghetti Spa, where you can enjoy the heated indoor pool, Finnish Saunas, a fitness centre/gym, two treatment rooms and the signature Meneghetti ‘Olive Oil Treatments’. The Meneghetti also offers a beach shuttle to its private beach club by the Adriatic coast, called the ‘Boho Beach Club, by Meneghetti’. Your visit will be greeted by numerous water activities and boat trips on the Adriatic Sea...the perfect afternoon’s activities! The private beach is located only 1.8 km from the Estate, so you will be there in no time. If cycling and walking are your thing, then look no further! You will be pleased to know there’s an array of cycling and walking routes to explore in the area.

One of the Meneghetti’s highlights is their Winery and their production of their own olive oil, wine and even cigars. When visiting, we recommend that you & your party make time to indulge in the ‘Meneghetti Wine Experience’, where you can try fourteen different labels of wine at a modern winery, with modern tasting rooms. The Meneghetti produce a staggering 100,000 bottles of first-class wine annually! To ensure a superior crop of grapes, the farmers have chosen to cultivate their grapes by using a pruning method called ‘Simonit & Sirch’, which you will learn about during your tour. Finally, do not miss the Meneghetti ‘Olive Oil Experience’, where you can try four different labels of the estate’s produced olive oil. The Meneghetti creates our favourite olive oil, called ‘Izbor’. This special oil is renowned for being the best in the world, for its kind, according to the ‘World’s Leading Olive Oil Guide L’Extravergine’.

The hotel offers several different types of accommodation, so you can get the most out of your Istrian adventure. The accommodation varies from residences with a private garden and/or a pool, villas with private pools and also hotel rooms & suites. The accommodation ranges from 22 square meters in size to 225 square meters.

Key Sustainable Features…

Meneghetti is proud to have sustainable network within its own grounds. The Meneghetti garden is a stunning area where the estate grows their own vegetables, berries, fruits, and spices. On-site, they have three water wells that they use for the irrigation of their green areas, including vineyards and olive groves.

Other aspects that of this sustainability commitment include –

• Cherishing their cultural and natural Istrian heritage, by inviting their visitors to take part in it and learn about it through their culinary and outdoor experiences.

• Using local and authentic ingredients in their restaurants. The Meneghetti  source as much food as possible from within a 50 kilometres radius. This is an approach that sits naturally with suppliers on the peninsula, where close human contact and cooperation have long been vital for the community to thrive.

• The Meneghetti works in partnership with suppliers within a 50 kilometres radius, who provide it with fresh organic vegetables, yogurt, award-winning cheeses (made from a local dairy – Latus), homemade pasta, and naturally, milk truffles—an Istrian delicacy.

When visiting Meneghetti we really recommend going on the ‘Olive Oil’ and ‘Wine Experiences’. Here guests can enjoy tastings, as well as visit the Michelin-recommended Meneghetti Restaurant, to get a true taste of the Istrian cuisine, with a modern twist. The Boho Beach club by Meneghetti is also well worth a visit, and if you want, do not forget to try some water activities or go on a boat trip, to explore the Adriatic Coast by the sea. We also suggest you try their olive oil therapy and vinotherapy, because it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Be sure to have visited their Meneghetti Outdoors, which are selected outdoor experiences consisting of a harmonious meditation oasis, the selection of Meneghetti biking and walking trails, and also unique outdoor locations for exercising, private dining, romantic picnics, and more. The best seasons to visit Meneghetti are spring, summer, and early autumn.

The Meneghetti Wine Hotel & Winery is situated on Croatia’s largest peninsula, Istria. The peninsula is located in the north-eastern part of the Adriatic Sea, in north-west Croatia. Istria is renowned for having the world’s most beautiful coastlines.

Pula Airport is the closest airport; it is located only 20 kilometres from the estate. Other airports that are close (but a little bit further away) are Trieste Airport in Italy, which is can be found  140 kilometres away and Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport in Slovenia which is 200 kilometres from the estate.

When visiting the Meneghetti Wine Hotel & Winery, don’t forget to visit the Old Town of Porec, just a 40-minute drive from the estate. Here you can visit the UNESCO world heritage site of the Episcopal Complex of the Euphrasian Basilica in the Historic Centre of Poreč.
