Monte Rei Golf & Country Club is a 5 Star Resort which is dedicated to ensuring that its guests are fulfilled with a truly luxurious holiday experience. Although the Resort is renowned for its award-winning Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf course & amenities and Michelin Star Restaurant (Vistas), we think that the luxury accommodation & facilities need to be boasted about!
Guests have a choice of either staying in the Clubhouse Apartments, which offer a more intimate stay for smaller groups. If you require a self-catered option, look no further than the One, Two & Three bedroom linked Villas or Four bedroom Villas with private swimming pools. All options are well-appointed with complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, pool towels, robes & slippers and daily housekeeping & room service. The Resort is so vast, you will often think that you & your party are have exclusivity whilst staying at Monte Rei!

Map & Location…
The Algarve has always had historic ties with tourism, not least for its golden beaches framed by delightfully shaped rocks formations, cooling waters and distinctly Portuguese restaurants where the taste of the catch of the day - just grilled, and drizzled with local olive oil – will pull you back for repeat holidays!
Monte Rei Golf & Country Club can be found cosily huddled between the Serra do Caldeirão Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Other than impressive man-made golf courses, guests are surrounded by a stunning landscapes and foothills of the Eastern Algarve and a spectacular coastline that is only 10 minutes drive from the Resort.
Although it may be hard to leave the Resort, it’s worth a few day visits to the surrounding landmarks and/or regions. Alentejo is scattered with UNESCO World Heritage site (such as Évora), vineyards, wild countryside and stunning stretches of coastline. A 7km car journey to The Ria Formosa Natural Park and National Forest of Vila Real de Santo Antonio, is a formidable day out, where visitors can can enjoy diversity of ecosystems that attract multiple types of fauna that are home to several species of birds.
