“I’ve stayed in lovely places - and prefer authentic which means I am unfussed about luxury. This hotel uniquely manages to combine both. My room (11) wasn’t front line but it was so beautiful and being closer to the forest meant at sunset I was able to listen to the noise of the forest. The staff were incredible, the food delicious and sophisticated and the architecture stunning. That’s before you even get to the beach which is, well, extraordinary. Would I go again. I have a golden rule of never going back. I might break it for this hotel.”

“Fantastic stay at the beautiful Sundy Resort, would highly recommend!! Totally chill vibe, amazing food, with even better service! The staff are super friendly, and accommodating. Plenty of activities to do, we chose to just chill for out for our stay, enjoying the beach and visited their spa.
The rooms are very high spec, extremely clean.
One of the best places we’ve ever stayed, and hope to visit again at some stage in the future!”

“This has to be one of the best hotels (resorts? lodges?) in the world; service, location, lodgings, beach, wellness (massages, mostly), activities, everything I can think of was on a scale between unbelievable brilliant and inconceivable fabulous. The food, based in local products and even local gastronomy, was divine.”

“The most luxurious hotel on Príncipe. A five star getaway on a deserted tropical beach with lux tented rooms dotted throughout a forest of palms and trees. Secluded. Relaxing. Very special. The food is fabulous using locally sourced produce - fresh fish, jackfruit, mango, pineapple, coconut. The emphasis is on sustainability and ecology. No plastic. No waste. The worthy goal is to preserve the environment and support the community. A great adventure and a stunning alternative to the Caribbean.”
