“We stayed for one night on our way over to Skye. The hotel is fantastic value for money, based on what we paid the hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel - an old hunting lodge - has maintained character with traditional looking interior whilst also looking fresh and clean. We didn't have dinner, but breakfast was great. Best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Staff, especially the hotel manager, were incredibly kind and welcoming.”

“We stayed one night in a large and comfortable room with view of Loch. Bed comfortable and good shower.
As others have said, the team was friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Johnny, the manager, was professional and friendly and offered a personal approach, while seeming to do all sorts of other jobs in the hotel, in a calm way. The food was superb and the best dinner and breakfast we can remember. Delicious and thanks to the chef and kitchen team.”

“After visiting in 2019 we decided to come back this year as our experience was great the last time we stayed. Our trip did not disappoint this year either and the COVID measures were excellent. We also decided to upgrade our room to the ness room which I would recommend to anyone as it was definitely worth the price, we sadly did not get a chance to try the food as we had reservations else where but will definitely be trying it in the future. Staff were also very friendly checking in and out would highly recommend.”

“Here the staff are trying really hard to make a COVID stay as comfortable as possible without losing customer service that so many hotels seem to be adopting. Rooms are very comfortable, but a Loch view is worth paying for. Food is very good and a lot of of diners come from outside to enjoy the food and that must say something. The setting is wonderful and with great views over the southern end of Loch Ness. This was our second stay and we would definitely consider it again if we find ourselves in this part of the world.”
