“Our first mini holiday following the easing of Covid measures and so glad we chose this hotel! Wonderfully looked after by their staff from beginning to end. We initially booked for March but this coincided with a partial lockdown and the hotel where very accommodating in shifting our dates. Which worked out well because we got to enjoy many more of the hotels amenities this way. The afternoon tea and outdoor breakfast are great, and since restaurants were still closed due to restrictions after 5pm, we got to enjoy room service on both nights, and both dinners were delicious! Can’t wait to return once further measures are lifted for a swim in their beautiful pool.”

“Excellent location, very convenient for Valletta, Well presented bedrooms, Excellent pool area and attentive staff.
The hotel also has an indoor pool and Spa. There is some onsite parking on a first come first served basis, but there is a large car park nearby if needed. Also, Excellent breakfasts. We would definitely stay there again!”

“This hotel is simply magnificent. It is likely the nicest hotel on the island on a value weighted basis and this is coming from someone who spent 12 years here as a child.

The brand new Spa would hold its own against any 5* hotel in Europe and the pool area is simply magnificent. Being so close to the centre of Valetta but also surrounded by an enchanting tropical garden is also absolutely surreal. I do not know how they keep the plants so pristine year round.

Valetta has emerged as one of the most uniquely vibrant and beautiful cities in all of Europe and is one of the parts of Malta that has retained all of its historical beauty whilst also making way for world class gastronomical establishments. It’s almost hard to imagine a better located hotel on the island than the Phonecia!

“The Phoenicia is the very definition of Mediterranean luxury. This is the second time we chose this hotel to enjoy a much needed weekend break and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

The food is great, the gardens are lush and the facilities are absolutely incredible. In a nutshell, you can enjoy a little bit of everything under one roof.
